Announcement Walki Svetogorsk
Walki Group has divested its Russian subsidiary Walki LLC to OOO Bumazhnaya Upakovka (Paper Packaging LLC).
All the required regulatory approvals have been received and the transition of 100 % of the shares of Walki LLC has been completed.
Walki LLC is employing 31 persons in its production plant located in Svetogorsk; Russia.
Walki is a growing international group organized in three business areas: Consumer Packaging, Industrial Packaging and Engineered Materials, with operations in twelve different countries, both in Europe and Asia. In 2022, the Group’s annual turnover was approx. 705 million euros employing around 1700 people.
OOO Bumazhnaya Upakovka (Paper Packaging LLC) is a Russian company operating in the manufacturing sphere and aiming at further development of the acquired asset.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price or the terms of the transaction.
