House Wrap
Wind and rain protection that performs – from closed walls to open façades
Advanced breathable wind barrier and façade membranes engineered for durable, energy-efficient wall systems.
Control air.
Manage moisture.
Protect performance.
Modern wall constructions demand more than basic protection. They require precise control of air, moisture and durability over time.
Walki®Wall Breath and Walki®Wall Façade are high-performance wind protection underlays designed for different façade structures:
- Walki®Wall Breath: breathable house wrap for closed wall cladding systems, ideal for both new builds and renovations, including modular construction
- Walki®Wall Façade: robust wind barrier for open cladding façades, engineered to withstand UV exposure and visible joint structures
Both solutions combine diffusion-open monolithic barrier technology with robust nonwoven materials, helping to protect insulation, improve energy efficiency and extend the service life of the building envelope.

Membranes for safer buildings, inside and out
A complete A2 fire-retardant membrane system for moisture control, airtightness and fire safety
Safe buildings require balanced moisture control, airtightness and fire performance. Walki’s A2 fire-retardant membranes provide a complete solution for both the inside and outside of the building envelope.
Together, they regulate vapour flow, protect insulation and enable structures to dry properly, improving durability and energy efficiency while meeting strict fire safety requirements.
Research & Development
Technology & Innovation Behind

Technical Competence Centres
Walki®Wall solutions are developed at Walki’s Technical Competence Centres in Finland, combining in-house coating and extrusion expertise with advanced barrier engineering. This enables the development of diffusion-open, monolithic membrane structures that deliver consistent performance, durability and process efficiency for modern wall systems.

Advancing the future of high-performance wall wrap production
At Walki, we continue to expand our production capabilities to meet the evolving demands of modern construction. Our next-generation production lines, designed with in-house coating and extrusion expertise, set new standards in wind barrier and façade membrane performance.
These advanced technologies enable the production of diffusion-open, monolithic barrier membranes with precise control over breathability, durability and weather resistance. The result is reliable protection for wall structures, without compromising installation efficiency or long-term performance.
As construction methods evolve towards prefabrication and higher performance requirements, Walki®Wall solutions are engineered to deliver consistent quality and adaptability. This development strengthens our ability to support energy-efficient buildings and future-ready façade systems.

A wind barrier is a membrane installed behind façade cladding to prevent air infiltration while allowing moisture vapour to escape.
Use Breath for closed wall systems and Façade for open cladding with visible gaps and UV exposure.
It ensures moisture can escape from the wall structure, reducing condensation and mould risk.
Yes. By reducing uncontrolled airflow, they help maintain insulation performance.
Yes, both are CE-marked according to EN 13859-2 for wall underlays.
